Core Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be to enhance the manufacturing workflows in areas such as melting, hot-working, finishing, laboratory machining, and quality inspections. You will play a crucial role in refining processes and standards to boost safety, equipment efficiency, and product excellence.

Key Duties (additional responsibilities may be assigned)

  • Enhance and optimize equipment utilization.
  • Refine material application processes.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Establish best practices for resource usage in production equipment.
  • Oversee technical aspects of maintenance tasks and hot-working furnace upkeep and construction.
  • Assist in identifying, justifying, and executing capital needs.
  • Develop and implement enhancements to manufacturing processes and standards aimed at improving workplace safety, equipment functionality, and product quality.
  • Lead, plan, and execute continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes. Utilize statistical data analysis and thermal/deformation modeling tools as necessary to support these initiatives.
  • Participate in and lead cross-functional continuous improvement efforts, including risk assessments, problem-solving documentation, cause/effect analysis, process audits, and standard operating procedures.
  • Effectively communicate findings to management, peers, and clients through written reports and presentations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a metals-related field.
