Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as a subject matter expert in developing and managing security solutions for automotive manufacturing plants.
  • Conducting threat analyses and vulnerability assessments to enhance plant security.
  • Collaborating with multiple teams to create and implement cybersecurity strategies tailored to manufacturing needs.
  • Providing expert guidance on technology within the manufacturing security domain.
  • Aligning personal and team objectives with the organization’s vision and strategic goals.
  • Advising senior leadership on the current and future state of our manufacturing cybersecurity initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Progressive technical experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IEC 62443 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework Version 1.1 Manufacturing Profile: NISTIR 8183.
  • Comprehensive understanding of computer security architectures and protocols, including firewalls, DMZs, remote access/VPN, and wireless LANs.
  • Experience with industrial control systems or operational technologies such as PLCs, HMIs, MES, SCADA, and MOM.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey security concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Experience in threat and vulnerability management programs.
  • Extensive background in Operational Technology.
