Automotive Cybersecurity Specialist

At Saxon Global, we're seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Manager for Vehicles to join our team. As a key member of our automotive cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for conducting compliance audits to ensure adherence to automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations. This includes developing, maintaining, and managing compliance auditing schedules, plans, and processes. Additionally, you will provide consultation to design groups, cybersecurity engineers, and other cross-functional teams as necessary to support compliance. In this role, you will also be responsible for identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities in automotive systems and proposing effective mitigation strategies. Furthermore, you will work closely with international colleagues to align cybersecurity practices globally and ensure consistency across different markets. Finally, you will stay abreast of the latest developments in automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
For this position, we are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in compliance auditing, including skills such as detail-oriented and ability to interrogate data/information, is essential. Additionally, you must be capable of independently driving projects and tasks forward. You should have a strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations such as ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155, and others. Experience working collaboratively with design groups and cybersecurity engineers is also required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with international colleagues effectively are essential. Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Automotive Cybersecurity Professional (CACP) are highly desirable. Familiarity with vehicle development lifecycle and cybersecurity integration is also required.
