Job Title: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of health conditions. As a Registered Nurse in Ambulatory Care, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and contributing to the development of our patients' care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including triage, nursing visits, injections, and other medical procedures.
  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care, communicate patient information, and ensure seamless transitions between care settings.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and engage in ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required for newly licensed nurses.
  • Recent (within 3 years) Ambulatory Care experience required (surgical/procedural excluded).
  • Triage experience preferred in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Community Health nursing.
  • At least 3 months recent telephone triage required.
  • Recent Primary Care experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
