About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care team as a Float Pool Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing support and care to patients in various Ambulatory Medical Surgical Specialties and Float Pool locations.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with patients, referring providers, and clinicians to coordinate care and scheduling.
  • Participate in departmental and organizational quality management and quality improvement projects as directed by leadership.
  • Utilize electronic medical records to document patient care in a clear, concise, and compliant manner.
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians and support staff to provide excellent care to patients and families in a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 6 months of recent clinical nursing experience in an Ambulatory Clinic/Practice setting and/or Emergency room setting.
  • Experience with telephone triage and in-person triage and clinical assessment techniques of an adult patient within the last 4 years.
  • Ambulatory Neurology experience strongly preferred.
  • Case Management experience preferred.
