Responsibilities
As a Medical Social Worker, you will be responsible for establishing care plans in line with the physician's treatment strategy. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that every patient receives comprehensive care that addresses their social, emotional, functional, and physical health needs. You will also provide critical support to patients and their families during times of crisis, offering much-needed intervention and understanding. Additionally, you will help physicians and caregivers understand and address the social and economic factors that impact a patient's medical progress. By connecting patients with vital community resources, you will help them access the support they need to thrive.
