Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Master Social Worker to join our team at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide comprehensive assessments, discharge planning, and reentry assistance to inmates with high needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychotherapy of a complex nature
  • Interpret complex psychosocial phenomena
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with community providers, families, and state and federal assistance programs
  • Provide education and resources to inmates and staff
Requirements
  • Masters degree in social work
  • Two years of Master Social Worker experience
  • Certification as a Master Social Worker by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services
