Truck Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Charlie Burnham Energy Service, Inc. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, repairing company vehicles and equipment, and ensuring the fleet is in a high state of operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review daily truck reports and address any safety issues promptly.
  • Perform routine repairs on all vehicle systems and components, including lubrication, fluid checks, and oil changes.
  • Conduct state and federal D.O.T. inspections and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain and repair fuel pumping equipment, piping, ticket registers, and emergency shut-off systems.
  • Track parts used and report inventory needs to supervisor.
  • Schedule outside repairs with vendors and maintain a clean and organized garage.
Certifications and Training:
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License with hazardous materials, air brake, and tank endorsements.
  • Brake Adjusting License.
  • VK Inspections Certificate.
  • State vehicle inspection license.
  • Certificate to reseal meters and registers.
