Job Title: Diesel Technician Opportunities in Bristol, PA

Talon Recruiting is partnering with a leading heavy truck dealership to find skilled Diesel Technicians to join their growing team in Bristol, PA.

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, including diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well individually and as part of a larger team.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, including diagnostics.
  • Keep the bay area clean and orderly in compliance with company safety policy.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • Positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a larger team.
  • Ability to sit, squat, bend, pull, and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout up to a twelve-hour shift.
  • Experience with electrical diagnostics and computer-based diagnostics and repair required.
  • Ability to climb in and out of Class 8 vehicles, Cranes, Garbage trucks, Cement Mixers, and other vocational equipment.
  • 2+ years shop experience preferred.
  • Must possess a high school diploma / GED.
  • Vocational or technical certification required.
  • CAT/Cummins/Detroit/Paccar experience/certifications preferred.
  • Required to possess PA semi-annual inspection license.
  • A valid CDL is preferred.
