Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Accurate Hearing Systems.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated individual to support the operations of our busy healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask with ease, and possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to our clinical staff, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating test results.
  • Contact patients and insurance providers to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with preparing correspondence and transmitting documents via mail or electronic means.
  • Remind patients of upcoming appointments and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
