Regional Sales Director Job Description

The Regional Sales Director is a key role in driving new business growth and sales performance across a designated territory. This position requires strong leadership and sales expertise to recruit and retain top-performing brokers, expand existing contracts, and deliver sales results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and onboard new brokers to sell through outbound phone calls and face-to-face meetings
  • Expand existing contracts with brokers across Medicare and ancillary products lines
  • Collaborate with internal sales, operations, marketing, and ancillary sales teams to drive new business
  • Train and develop key brokers and agencies to sell more effectively
  • Manage key relationships within the territory to ensure optimal commitment and performance
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and share expertise with the team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier representatives
  • Maintain and update CRM systems to ensure accurate agent records
  • Utilize social media and other tools to develop and manage new agent leads
Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven sales experience, with a focus on Medicare sales
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and high-energy team player
  • Ability to absorb training, government regulations, and product specifics
  • Proficient use of technology
