Position Summary:

We are seeking a Dietitian Specialist to enhance our Nutrition Team within the Midatlantic region, focusing on Acute Care and Senior Living environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead nutrition services in specialized areas, dedicating at least 70% of your workload to fields such as NICU, bariatric, renal, cardiac, diabetes, nutrition support, pediatrics, oncology, transplant, geriatrics, and outpatient services.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional status, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
  3. Provide training and mentorship to staff and interns in patient/resident services.
  4. Promote teamwork and develop innovative programs that enhance clinical nutrition and financial performance.
  5. Adhere to regulatory standards set by federal, state, and accrediting bodies, while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  6. Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and quality assurance programs.

Qualifications:
  1. Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  2. State licensure as required.
  3. A minimum of two years of experience in a specialized area.
  4. Specialty certification as applicable.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft applications, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software.
  6. Willingness to travel as necessary for the role.
