Electrical Engineering Team

The Electrical Engineering team at Dexcom is responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining all electronics, including wearable transmitters and handheld receivers. We also provide specific platforms for advanced research projects and tools to support firmware development and testing.

The Manager Electrical Test Development is a key contributor who leads and grows the Test Development team. This role is responsible for delivering and supporting the various Test Stations for all programs.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Test Manager to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting the test stations used at different manufacturing stages for all Dexcom products.

You will lead a multi-site team of Test Development engineers, working closely with program owners and other team managers to identify and provide the necessary resources to support desired milestones and timelines.

As a collaborative leader, you will empower your team to create a trusting, respectful, and innovative environment where team members can excel. You will also develop processes that optimize team efficiency while ensuring the highest level of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and support test stations used at different manufacturing stages for all Dexcom products.
  • Lead a multi-site team of Test Development engineers.
  • Work closely with program owners and other team managers to identify and provide necessary resources.
  • Develop and motivate the needed staff and skillset to support current and future roadmaps.
  • Define, implement, and optimize processes and tools for the team to be successful.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of industry experience in test development of electronic devices.
  • 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience.
