Key Responsibilities- Set up and maintain lab test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Debugging issues that arise with test equipment to minimize downtime and optimize testing efficiency.
- Characterize printed circuit board assemblies and products as instructed by senior engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support rapid prototyping activities with evaluation modules and breadboarding to accelerate product development.
- Assemble and rework PCBAs to ensure proper functionality and reliability.
- Modify test fixtures as needed to accommodate changing product requirements.
- Develop scripts for test equipment using languages such as Python, Audio-Precision, and Soundcheck to streamline testing processes.
- Execute RF and electrical tests to ensure product compliance with industry standards.
- Assist internal compliance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, such as ESD and RE.
- Analyze test data and generate detailed and summary reports to inform product development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
- At least 2 years' experience as a test engineer in the consumer electronics or mobile telecommunications industry.
- Ability to travel domestically when required.
- Knowledge of Bluetooth, WiFi, and USB standards.
