Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Design Engineer III to join our team at EVONA. As an individual contributor, you will work in a project team environment to design and develop new test architectures and sustain engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze device and system level functional specifications, design documents, and project documents to ensure compliance with testing standards.
  • Participate in the review and development of software products, ensuring that all test protocols are automated, follow testing standards, and are well-documented.
  • Develop and execute test plans, schedules, and reports for each test effort, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Lead and coordinate testing efforts for projects, developing and tracking test plans, schedules, and reporting test results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, with a concentration in software, or equivalent knowledge in software engineering.
  • Extensive background in test engineering with demonstrated technical skills, including configuration of ATE components, PXI architectures, and test automation software.
  • Expert-level configuration of ATE components, including rack instrumentation and PXI architectures.
  • Excellent track record developing test automation software using LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Python, C#, and Visual Basic.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with test tools and equipment, with an emphasis on high-end spectrum and vector network analyzers.
  • Experience writing and executing test procedures, with strong documentation skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks and basic mechanical engineering concepts related to bed of nail test fixtures design and construction.
  • Previous experience testing RF devices operating in the S, X, and Ka bands.
  • Previous exposure to optics and laser communication technologies.
