Job Overview

Zebra Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to launch Zebra's products and solutions, ensuring successful outcomes and meeting business objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead internal teams in aligning external customer needs in support of pre-and post-sales requirements, driving internal engineering and supply chain teams to deliver new outcomes and close deals.
  • Execute multiple moderate to large scope projects, managing complex programs with cross-functional teams in multiple locations, and ensuring timely completion and budget constraints.
  • Travel with a team of engineers and support personnel to customer sites to review requirements, develop solutions, ensure necessary testing, and document final designs.
  • Utilize and improve established tools, approaches, methodologies, and templates to guide and document plans and communicate them to teams.
  • Own regular meeting coordination, facilitation, and documentation of progress, ensuring program completion and business objectives are achieved.
  • Balance scope, schedule, and budget considerations to ensure program and business objectives are achieved.
  • Assume self and team accountability for program success, executing and enabling strategic cross-functional improvements, and assuming self and indirect project team's accountability for program success against objectives.
  • Prepare and present status updates and other deliverables to senior-level audiences, influencing and communicating effectively.
  • Engage additional resources as needed to address obstacles/delays, providing recommendations for issue resolution and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Establish operational objectives and delegate assignments to achieve business results, demonstrating advanced knowledge of PM techniques and utilizing PM tools & techniques in scheduling & staffing plans.
  • Develop comprehensive risk management plans, demonstrating advanced knowledge of development processes and product launch scope and activities.
  • Navigate complex problems and overcome ambiguity with limited manager oversight, identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements.
  • Create and manage schedules for products and solutions between Zebra and customers, driving identification and closure of risks and dependencies for NPI programs and milestones.
  • Host and facilitate core team meetings, driving team alignment and action item closure, and communicating regularly to business unit and Sales leadership teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, required.
  • 8+ years' of related experience, plus experience leading teams, required.
  • Demonstrated track record of effective project management experience, required.
