About the Role

Chevron Stations Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative/Cashier. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting and thanking customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Operate a cash register, process transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Cash Handling: Count and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift, secure all funds in a safe, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, including the indoor and outdoor facilities, restrooms, islands, pumps, and car wash.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve food and hot beverage products, manage ExtraMile and/or KKC food service and beverages, and continuously monitor product levels and re-stock as needed.
  • Marketing and Sales: Actively promote store specials and other marketing programs, cross-check the price of delivered goods for accuracy, and distribute delivered goods in an orderly manner throughout the store.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Availability: Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgment.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
  • Age Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California, Oregon, or Washington locations, and at least 21 years of age or older to work the Graveyard shift from 10 pm to 6 am.
