Lead Preschool Educator

We are seeking a highly qualified Lead Preschool Educator to join our team at Challenge School Inc.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for young children.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a passion for teaching and mentoring students. As a Lead Preschool Educator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student progress, communicating effectively with parents and guardians, and contributing to a safe and healthy learning environment.
Responsibilities- Classroom Environment and Management:
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social-emotional development and enhances learning.
- Establish and enforce rules and routines to ensure a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Use technology and other tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- Classroom Curriculum Implementation:
- Help develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes active learning, creativity, and exploration.
- Plan daily lesson plans, activities, and experiences that align with educational standards and support children's individual needs and interests.
- Align with program/school curriculum goals such as project-based learning.
- Classroom Teaching and Transition:
- Conduct circle time and age-appropriate activities.
- Handle transition well and maintain a calm and composed demeanor.
- Encourage children's independence and self-expression.
- Classroom Assessment:
- Conduct ongoing assessments of children's developmental levels and progress using standardized tools.
- Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and individualize learning experiences.
- Classroom Record:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's growth, behavior, and learning outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about children's progress and activities.
- Following Licensing, Accreditation, and School Policies:
- Follow licensing, NAEYC/QRIS standards, and school policies.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, including emergency procedures and hygiene practices.
- Parent Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about children's progress, activities, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with families to support children's learning and development at home.
- Health and Safety:
- Evaluate and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
- Supervise students during activities, transitions, and outdoor play.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
- Maintain licensure or certification requirements.
