Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our inside sales team and drive revenue growth for our client in the compressed air industry.

About the Role

This dynamic position involves overseeing and managing both inside and outside sales teams to achieve sales targets and enhance market share.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a comprehensive business strategy to ensure revenue growth across all product lines within the branch's territory.
  2. Collaborate with sales personnel to devise strategies that boost market share and drive sales success.
  3. Conduct regular quote log and Hot List reviews with outside sales representatives to identify opportunities and challenges.
  4. Meet with sales team members monthly to review year-to-date performance against goals and provide actionable feedback.
  5. Assist sales representatives in building strong customer relationships, including conducting joint sales calls and training sessions.
  6. Perform duties as an outside sales representative to secure additional business and achieve sales targets.
  7. Negotiate pricing and discounts in consultation with the outside sales team to maximize revenue potential.
  8. Schedule and conduct performance reviews for all branch sales personnel to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  9. Lead regular sales meetings with a focus on sales strategies, product training, and team motivation.
Requirements
  • A university degree in engineering, marketing, or business studies is preferred, or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills to effectively manage business transactions and customer interactions.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license, free of violations and convictions, and be willing to travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
