Position Summary:
We are in search of an Agile Scrum Master who will be instrumental in facilitating and coordinating Agile Scrum methodologies across our organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that our teams collaborate effectively and efficiently to deliver top-notch solutions. The ideal candidate will partner closely with the product development team to maintain project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards. Additionally, the Scrum Master will act as a mentor and coach, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that team objectives are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and oversee Agile Scrum processes within the organization.
  • Coach and guide team members on Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Ensure collaborative and efficient teamwork to produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the Product Developer to manage and prioritize the product backlog.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in a Scrum Master role.

Required Skills:

  • Experience working within DOD program frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DOD systems and software engineering methodologies.
  • Proficient in complex project planning and execution tracking.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing contracts with the US Navy, US Air Force, or MDA.
  • Familiarity with DOD Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts or similar.
  • Knowledge of DOD cybersecurity objectives and strategies.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with customers, senior program managers, and chief engineers.
  • Commitment to mentoring and developing talent.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
