About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to achieve project objectives, ensuring effective execution and quality assurance.
  • Assist in marketing efforts to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing ones.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to meet project requirements and drive profitability and growth.
  • Perform project development, including finalizing project scope, preparing bid summaries, and preparing project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Prepare and direct the preparation of designs, specifications, plans, estimates, and reports for projects.
  • Review job cost sheets and prepare monthly billings, ensuring assigned projects stay within budget allocation.
  • Maintain healthy client relationships and possess solid operational insight for driving projects and executing deliverables.
  • Supervise project personnel to ensure high-quality work and maintain close relationships with clients to resolve project questions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
  • Registered Professional in the field of expertise is strongly preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in civil engineering, with land development engineering experience and skills including large- and small-scale grading.
  • Thorough understanding of municipal codes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AES, CIVILD, WSPGW, PCSWMM, StormCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Environment

Eligible for remote work arrangements. Primarily indoor professional office environment with occasional outdoor work environment and mobility around a job/construction site.
