Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager/Senior Civil Project Manager - Traffic Analysis to join our Traffic Group in Raleigh, NC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling Timmons Group services.
  • Oversee project staff, providing guidance and support to ensure technical quality and profitability.
  • Coordinate marketing and business development efforts, negotiating scopes and fees with clients.
  • Manage client communications, billing, and collections.
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager and Transportation Group Leader to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a scientific field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional registration (P.E., PTOE, etc.) in one or more states where Timmons Group operates.
  • At least 6 years of experience in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in traffic and transportation engineering, including projects for NCDOT and/or local governments in North Carolina.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting and budget management.
  • Experience in marketing and supervising technical work.
  • Proficiency in technical and office support software, including Microstation and traffic analysis software packages.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
