Timmons Group is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager/Senior Civil Project Manager to join our Traffic Group located in our Charlotte, NC office location.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the successful delivery of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion, quality, and profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for cross-selling Timmons Group services.
- Oversee project staff coordination, client communications, and negotiate scopes and fees.
- Assist in collection of fees when required and maintain superior relationships with clients.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related scientific area, or equivalent work experience.
- Professional registration (P.E., PTOE, etc.) in one or more states where Timmons Group conducts business is preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in roadway design, traffic, and transportation engineering, including projects for NCDOT and/or local governments in North Carolina.
- Thorough understanding of project accounting and ability to manage schedule and budget for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in marketing and supervision of technical work of others.
- Working knowledge of technical and office support software required to perform essential functions, including MicroStation and/or traffic analysis software packages.
