Senior Program Manager, Satellite Production Operations

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC está liderando una iniciativa innovadora para desplegar una constelación de satélites en órbita terrestre baja, con el objetivo de ofrecer conectividad de banda ancha de alta velocidad y baja latencia a comunidades desatendidas en todo el mundo.

En este rol, como Senior Program Manager, serás responsable de colaborar con equipos multifuncionales dentro de Kuiper, abarcando áreas como hardware, software, cadena de suministro, fabricación, lanzamiento, finanzas, cumplimiento y recursos humanos.

Responsabilidades clave:

  • Dirigir la hoja de ruta de producción de satélites, asegurando la entrega de soluciones integrales para la adquisición, construcción, prueba y lanzamiento de satélites a gran escala.
  • Establecer conexiones entre la hoja de ruta de producción y los objetivos anuales, creando y gestionando herramientas para medir y optimizar proyectos.
  • Representar la hoja de ruta de producción en la evaluación de decisiones técnicas relacionadas con la innovación, velocidad, manufacturabilidad, costo, estabilidad y confianza.
  • Comprender las dependencias entre proyectos, sincronizar hitos y resolver obstáculos para garantizar la entrega de la hoja de ruta.
  • Desarrollar y gestionar un cronograma de producción que actúe como fuente única para el seguimiento y sincronización de proyectos.
  • Impulsar la creación y adopción de procesos escalables y estandarizados en todas las funciones de la cadena de suministro, fabricación y lanzamiento.
  • Establecer mecanismos de informes y documentos estratégicos que proporcionen información sobre actividades, logros, desafíos y riesgos operativos.
  • Medir, analizar y mejorar KPIs en todos los aspectos de la operación, buscando oportunidades de optimización continua.

Perfil del candidato:

El candidato ideal debe tener una sólida experiencia en gestión de programas técnicos, así como habilidades en la colaboración con equipos de ingeniería. Se valorará la capacidad para trabajar en entornos ambiguos y resolver problemas complejos.

Requisitos básicos:

  • Más de 5 años de experiencia en gestión de productos o programas técnicos.
  • Más de 7 años de experiencia trabajando directamente con equipos de ingeniería.
  • Más de 3 años de experiencia en desarrollo de software.
  • Experiencia en gestión de programas a través de equipos multifuncionales.
