Role Overview:
We are seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to join our retail team. This individual will assist customers in navigating our product offerings while ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and verify identification upon entry.
- Assist customers with inquiries and required documentation; update customer records in the point of sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales environment.
- Provide education on cannabis products and help customers select items that meet their needs.
- Process online orders efficiently and manage curbside pickups in compliance with regulations.
- Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management as necessary.
- Stay informed about product knowledge and current trends in the cannabis industry.
- Utilize and maintain the POS system accurately.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and complete daily financial reconciliations.
- Assist with product intake, inventory management, and regular audits.
- Follow all company policies regarding compliance, security, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Previous experience in a retail or cannabis environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with cannabis products and their benefits.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check.
