The Senior Manager of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery Programs will oversee the management and nonclinical oversight of various programs, including HIV/STI/Hep C prevention and screening, overdose prevention, Recovery Support/Navigation, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the HIV/STI/Hep C prevention and screening, overdose prevention, and Medication Assisted Treatment service programs ensuring high-quality care.
- Supervise employees in the HIV/STI/Hep C, overdose prevention, and MAT programs, participating in the hiring process for new staff members.
- Ensure staff receives ongoing training, professional development, regular supervision, and performance reviews.
- Participate in obtaining funds and grants, including writing new grants and responding to RFPs.
- Monitor the budget and expenditures to prevent overspending.
- Develop and implement a program evaluation process to ensure care models meet client needs.
- Supervise and maintain protocols and service standards for services provided by volunteers/students.
- Develop work plans and provide monthly and quarterly reports to funders.
- Provide direct prevention and counseling services as needed.
- Participate in Managers Roundtable and other meetings at Manet, including facilitating team meetings.
- Minimum five years of experience leading and developing service programs.
- Experience managing and supervising employees.
- Expertise in the HIV/STI/Hep C and substance abuse fields.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Self-directed, flexible, with excellent teaching and interpersonal skills.
- Display excellent judgment skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with diverse populations.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements.
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
