Job Summary

The Executive Director is responsible for leading and directing the overall operation of our community, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and service. This includes supervising and motivating our staff, maintaining high resident satisfaction and retention, and meeting corporate financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and direct the overall operation of the community, ensuring compliance with residents' needs, government regulations, and company policies.
  2. Supervise and motivate community staff, providing leadership and support to ensure excellent service quality.
  3. Maintain high resident satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high-quality services.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to meet corporate financial goals, including budgeting and revenue enhancement.
  5. Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring consistency in the selection and retention of quality personnel.
  6. Ensure buildings, grounds, and property are maintained to company standards, overseeing preventative maintenance systems and programs.
  7. Maintain current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses, ensuring compliance with company, Federal, State, and local requirements.
  8. Foster creativity among staff to deliver the highest quality and best services to residents in the most economical manner possible.
  9. Develop and maintain a positive image within the community, representing the facility and company to governmental agencies, professional organizations, and community groups.
  10. Utilize sales and marketing activities and strategies to maximize occupancy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, gerontology, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years' related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of the organization and industry.
  • State/Local certifications as required to be an administrator.
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal and organizational skills.
