Job Overview

Union Square Events is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead the operations of our dining service departments. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, managing financials, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and improve efficiency
  • Manage financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of retail operational foodservice management experience
  • Proven track record of success in managing financials and driving business growth
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
  • Experience with cash retail operations and marketing
  • Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
