About the Role

Community Radiology Associates is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality MRI exams on incoming patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Adhere to company policies and established protocols to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Administer contrast agents as needed, following safe and effective procedures.
  • Understand and utilize advanced imaging techniques, including TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, and field of view, to produce high-quality images.
  • Guide patients through the MRI process, providing clear explanations and addressing their concerns and questions.
  • Respond to physician inquiries and needs regarding patient care.
  • Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and confidential information.
  • Ensure the secure storage and handling of on-site medications, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and respect for company property, including patient financial information.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, interacting diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (if applicable)
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience (preferred)
