TalentCraft is seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Scientist to provide expertise in Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) Bioconjugation and Chemistry to advance our ADC portfolio.
The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in chemistry and/or bioconjugation, supporting both discovery research and early process development for ongoing and new ADC projects.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Hands-on Laboratory Work: Support ADC and bioconjugate projects by conducting hands-on laboratory work, including reagent generation, bioconjugate optimization, material production, purification, analytics, and characterization.
- Offer Specialized Knowledge: Provide specialized knowledge in chemistry and bioconjugation for cutting-edge ADC technologies, including linkers, payloads, innovative conjugation methods, and analytical assessments, while contributing new ideas for proof of concept.
- Participate in Planning and Execution: Participate in the planning, discussion, and execution of chemical synthesis processes, including the development of new methods and techniques.
- Conduct Critical Analysis: Conduct critical analysis and interpretation of scientific and technical data, and document findings through report writing.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate scientific concepts, results, and interpretations effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Adhere to Guidelines and Regulations: Adhere to intellectual property guidelines, compliance policies, and health and safety regulations in the laboratory.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Chemistry or a related field with at least three (3) years of relevant experience; or, MS/MA in Chemistry or a related field with at least seven (7) years of relevant experience; or, BS/BA in Chemistry or a related field with at least nine (9) years of relevant experience; or, A combination of equivalent education and experience.
Required Skills- Strong Scientific Understanding: Strong scientific understanding of chemistry, the mechanisms of action of cytotoxins and ADCs, and pharmacology studies in ADC discovery.
- Hands-on Laboratory Experience: Hands-on laboratory experience in bioconjugate research, including reagent generation, bioconjugate optimization, material production, purification, analytics, and characterization.
- Preferred Experience: Preferred experience in various aspects of small molecule chemical synthesis.
- Proven Commitment to Scientific Excellence: Proven commitment to scientific excellence, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve scientific challenges.
- In-depth Knowledge of ADC Research: In-depth knowledge of current advancements in ADC research, including conjugation technologies, linkers, and payloads.
- Proficient in Bioconjugation Platforms: Proficient in bioconjugation platforms, their applications, and development processes.
- Strong Understanding of Analytical Techniques: Strong understanding of analytical techniques, such as NMR, HPLC, and LCMS.
- Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple projects.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Collaborative Team Player: A collaborative team player with a solid track record in report writing.
