Job Title: R&D Mechanical Engineer

Join ESPO Corporation, a leading technical recruiting and staffing company, as a R&D Mechanical Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to join our team in Willowbrook, IL.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on the design and development of new products and equipment. As a R&D Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to completion, including design, drafting, and testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from concept to completion, including design, drafting, and testing.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide input on design improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies and apply this knowledge to improve product design and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with increasing scope and responsibility.
  • Experience in the design and development of heavy industrial equipment or industrial instruments.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
