Position Overview

Ohio Anesthesia Group Inc is a prominent provider of anesthesia services, dedicated to delivering exceptional care in collaboration with local healthcare facilities. We are currently seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) who are committed to providing a safe and positive experience for every patient.


The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthetics to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, working closely under the supervision of an attending Anesthesiologist. This role involves providing care in community hospitals and Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia care.
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations of patients.
  • Formulate and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Ensure informed consent is obtained for anesthesia and related procedures.
  • Select, prepare, and administer preanesthetic medications or treatments.
  • Utilize and maintain equipment, monitors, and supplies necessary for anesthesia administration, performing safety checks as required.
  • Manage all aspects of airway maintenance.
  • Facilitate patient emergence and recovery from anesthesia, monitoring responses and administering necessary medications and support.
  • Assess patient responses during the post-anesthesia period and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Prioritize and uphold patient safety at all times.
  • Engage in mandatory educational programs and departmental meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program in the United States.
  • Currently certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
  • Possess an active Registered Nurse license in Ohio, adhering to all relevant state regulations for CRNAs.
  • Provide proof of valid professional liability insurance coverage, if applicable.
  • Maintain current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Demonstrate competency in the clinical responsibilities associated with the position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work on a computer.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
