Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Specialist to join our team at the Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center Master. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Check-In: Greet and register patients, verify insurance information, and update patient records.
  • Phone and Email Management: Answer and direct phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and manage email correspondence.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform daily tasks such as running reports, balancing cash, and maintaining petty cash.
  • Patient Communication: Educate patients on shot room protocol, answer questions, and provide accurate information.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Assist with scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year of experience in customer service or reception, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in medical terminology.
Work Environment

This position is located in a well-lighted office environment with occasional evening and weekend work. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional patient care.
