At OrthoCarolina, we're seeking a skilled Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. As the initial point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication and exceptional patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling appointments and handling incoming calls from healthcare providers and patients
  • Ensuring timely and courteous handling of calls, with a focus on meeting OrthoCarolina and clinic policies
  • Rescheduling patients as needed to accommodate clinic schedules and providing support to referral physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Assisting the clinical team with medical questions, using templates and protocols to ensure efficient and effective communication

Requirements include:

  • High school graduate or equivalent experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • One year of experience in a call center or medical setting, with a focus on inbound calls, scheduling, patient flow, and patient care
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced customer service setting, with skills in telephone procedure and medical terminology
