Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Coordinator III to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate recording of patient demographics, insurance information, and patient charges. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to provide exceptional support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and update patient demographics, insurance information, and patient charges in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Schedule patient appointments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including cross-training in multiple administrative functions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of clerical experience in a medical office setting required.
  • Knowledge of medical office software, including updating patient demographic information, posting charges, and scheduling patient appointments.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work with changing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority.
