Senior Analyst, Business Risk Management

The Procurement and Third-Party Management (P&TPM) team is tasked with comprehensive oversight and accountability for the formulation and execution of Citi's Third-Party Management (TPM) policies, standards, and associated processes. The P&TPM Supplier Oversight Program is dedicated to monitoring external third parties deemed essential to Citi's operations across the firm, ensuring that significant risks associated with these entities are identified, managed, and addressed effectively.

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for conducting necessary oversight and evaluations for the P&TPM Supplier Oversight program, facilitating discussions with Business and Senior Management regarding third-party performance and key risk issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and executing oversight discussions and performing onsite/remote reviews of third-party engagements to ensure adequate controls are in place.
  • Preparing and supporting oversight reports with well-founded conclusions regarding the overall risk landscape.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and maintaining comprehensive profiles of third parties, including risk assessments and trends.
  • Creating detailed documentation that outlines the identification, analysis, and reporting of risks.
  • Providing insights on issue identification, corrective action planning, and remediation strategies.
  • Facilitating follow-up actions post engagement with business and third parties to ensure risk mitigation and remediation efforts are confirmed.
  • Assisting in the design and development of oversight initiatives.
  • Offering additional support for various projects related to Third-Party Risk Management as required.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in third-party management, risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and remediation.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written, with a knack for articulating complex and sensitive topics succinctly.
  • Experience collaborating with global, cross-functional teams and navigating large organizational structures is preferred.
  • Strong relationship management capabilities with a focus on fostering partnerships across the enterprise.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in reporting and data analysis, with strong skills in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
