Key Responsibilities:

Interface with business clients to understand their needs and requirements
Develop and maintain client relationships
Build stakeholder consensus and ensure everyone is on the same page
Develop business cases, requirements, use cases, test plans, and operational procedures
Document business processes and workflows
Craft business cases to evaluate the feasibility of technology initiatives
Identify business and functional requirements by working with application end-users
Design and execute test cases for application development and implementation projects
Collaborate with IT professionals to determine if solutions currently exist or whether new solutions are feasible to meet business requirements
Maintain a comprehensive chronological trail of requirements and agreements
Provide overall support to ensure the successful design, testing, and implementation of applications that support the business unit

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Finance
8+ years of relevant technical and business work experience
Capital Markets domain experience, with knowledge of risk management, Credit and Market Risk, and familiarity with concepts of finance and accounting
Proficiency in MS Excel
Experience in defining and implementing technology solutions for a major financial institution
Extensive experience as a Business Analyst for a large financial institution
Familiarity with relational databases / RDBMS / Murex Datamart
Familiarity with Murex Feeders, Dynamic Tables, Simulation Views, Batch of Feeders
Experience with writing simple SQL statements
Familiarity with object-oriented programming language (c# preferred)
