Key Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist to join our team at ERM. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide critical support to our clients in the environmental permitting space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and data compilation for permit applications and reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications to various regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and maintain training materials for project stakeholders.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks related to environmental advising and permitting processes.
  • Develop and communicate guidelines for contractors on project sites.
  • Manage files and documentation efficiently.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental permitting.
  • Proficiency in NEPA regulations.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas or linear permitting (highway, electrical transmission, pipeline).
  • Preferred experience with FERC regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on environmental science.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills and database management.
  • Experience in permitting large-scale projects like pipelines, compressor stations, or transmission lines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a knack for finding effective solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail in compliance reporting and data accuracy.
