EDUCATIONAL SPEECH SPECIALIST
We are seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists for full-time, educational settings. These roles involve a structured schedule, typically Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week throughout the academic year. Opportunities for part-time work may be available for suitable candidates. Multiple educational institutions are currently seeking professionals to work with students across various age groups, including elementary, middle, and high school.
Candidate Profile: Ideal applicants should possess a minimum of one year of recent experience in pediatric or educational environments, demonstrate strong time management skills, and thrive in dynamic settings. Proficiency in conducting evaluations and exceptional communication abilities are essential. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and Clinical Fellowship Supervisors are available for mentorship. Our organization values a collaborative network of Speech-Language Pathologists and supportive leadership.
Compensation:
$1,688 Weekly Gross
$45 Hourly
37.5 hours per week

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Educational Speech Specialist will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with school staff to develop effective communication programs
- Designing therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of students with speech and hearing challenges
- Guiding educators in identifying and addressing speech and language difficulties
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of speech and language disorders
- Implementing screening processes to identify students requiring support
- Creating individualized therapy plans to address specific speech or language issues
- Working alongside teachers to integrate therapy into daily classroom activities
- Providing resources and support to families as needed
- Offering professional development and consultation to school staff on speech improvement
- Maintaining detailed records for students receiving therapy services
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Successful completion of the National Certification Examination
- At least one year of verified professional experience within the last three years
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA certification
