Production Supervisor Job Description

At ICONMA, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team in Detroit, MI. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems to detect and resolve production problems.
  • Collaborate with technical and administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate production staff, and resolve personal grievances.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing production efficiency.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Associate's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of leadership experience.
