Job Overview

DSJ Global is seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our team at our Raleigh, NC facility. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for executing the procurement process, developing supplier sourcing strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for turnkey electronic components and metals.
  • Identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to secure optimal pricing, quality, and lead times.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand component requirements and fulfill customer needs.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including purchase order execution, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry regulations and policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies for mitigation.
  • Analyze and report on procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of procurement experience, particularly with electronic components.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic components and the associated supply chain.
  • Proficiency in ERP and procurement tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
