PMA Consultants Careers is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to provide project controls support services for our current pharmaceutical clients.

This position will be located onsite in Raleigh, North Carolina, and will involve assisting the Project Controls Manager on several large manufacturing projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining project schedules, total project cost estimates, and status reports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring project schedule progress, actual expenditures vs. budget, and all potential cost impacts.
  • Reviewing contractor and consultants' invoices, identifying project risks, and supporting the development of weekly/monthly cost and status reports for the project team.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of project controls (cost or schedule) experience supporting large capital improvement programs, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Proficiency in using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Understanding of interrelationships between project controls issues and other functions such as project accounting and procurement.
  • Detail-oriented with effective organization and coordination skills.
  • Ability to be flexible in evolving procedures and work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
