Job Title: Aerospace Contracts Specialist

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Contracts Specialist to join our team at Marquee Staffing - Technical. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, reviewing contracts, and working with multiple functions to resolve issues.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review terms and conditions for new orders to ensure contract requirements are fully satisfied in a compliant manner.
  • Negotiate lead times, delivery schedules, and pricing with customers under management oversight.
  • Review purchase orders to ensure that pricing, delivery schedules, and terms and conditions agree with quote or previously negotiated agreements.
  • Ensure export compliance reviews are performed for all foreign customers' shipments prior to order acceptance and again at time of shipment.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Actively monitoring work progress to verify compliance with shipping schedules, legal/contract requirements, and other commitments.
  • Serving as the point of contact for internal questions relating to customer agreements and terms and conditions.
  • Reviewing product lead-time data and collaborating with Manufacturing, Planning, and the customer to manage and respond to changing external demand schedules and internal production schedules.
  • Maintaining responsibility through all customer requests and updating data as necessary.
  • Responding to incoming calls and faxes in a timely manner.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of experience in a customer service function.
  • Sales order desk or aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of purchase order agreements, terms, conditions, and standard business practices.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy in daily work is essential.
  • A professional demeanor, ability to interact with customers with friendliness, diplomacy, and patience.
