Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Bryn Mawr Veterinary Hospital. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgeries and dental care
  • Monitor and care for patients in the hospital, including administering medications and performing laboratory tests
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of veterinary medical procedures and protocols
  • Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other hospital staff
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
  • Current certification as a veterinary technician or assistant (CVT/LVT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and lifting
Work Schedule

This is a full-time opportunity with a range of 36-40 hours per week, including evenings and Saturdays. Our team works together to share responsibilities and ensure that our hospital runs smoothly and efficiently.
