Matter is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Public Relations Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our PR team, you will be responsible for securing media opportunities, building strong relationships with media contacts, and driving client PR and social media programs.
Key Responsibilities- Pursue and secure a consistent stream of media opportunities for B2B and B2C clients, including trade, consumer, business media, and top-tier publications.
- Draft pitches, bylines, and other client deliverables that effectively communicate client messaging and drive results.
- Develop creative ideas to drive client PR and social media programs, and proactively offer recommendations to clients on how to leverage national news, industry trends, and media coverage to impact their programs.
- Mentor and manage junior team members' involvement in projects and initiatives.
- Participate in new business opportunities, including research, creation of media playbooks, and SOV analyses.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant business experience.
- 2-3 years of post-college PR agency experience, preferably working with B2B tech clients.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and a desire to drive media relations results across all accounts.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously.
- Fast learner with an inquisitive mind and eye for detail.
- Adaptable, dependable, and promotes a positive work environment.

Compensation for this role is between $55,000-$65,000 based on experience.
