About the Role

Providence is seeking a skilled RN - Medical Telemetry to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with various medical conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, and neurological disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, medical history, and laboratory results to identify potential complications and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide education, support, and guidance throughout the care process.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1 year of experience in Medical Telemetry or a related field.
