Clinical Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinic Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support duties, including assisting with department process improvement, back-up to manager, maintaining supplies, coordinating schedules and meetings, and participating in training/in-services for clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of services.
- Provide support to the manager, handling issues that arise and escalating concerns as necessary.
- Order and maintain departmental and medical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Responsible for equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Monitor and manage the clinic's budget, working closely with the manager to ensure spending is within approved limits.
- Conduct quality control checks, ensuring adherence to standards and protocols.
- Resolve less complex patient, staff, and physician issues, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Assist with evaluating associate performance and recommending merit increases, working closely with the manager to ensure fair and consistent evaluations.
- Monitor and report any associate non-compliance with approved policies, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Coordinate staff schedules and PTO requests, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing disruptions.
- Ensure NCHD referrals are accurate and appropriate, working closely with the manager to ensure compliance with guidelines.
- Provide support to staff as needed, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines, ensuring the protection of patient information.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and physicians, using clear and positive language to convey ideas and information.
- Implement job responsibilities in a manner consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission and Code of Ethics, supporting the organization's cultural diversity objectives.
- Support and adhere to the CPG Service Guarantee, ensuring exceptional patient care and service.
- Perform other related work as required, ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
Requirements:
Education/Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Excellent computer knowledge and skills, including data input and abstracting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
- Registered Nurse license.
- CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
