Clinical Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinic Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support duties, including assisting with department process improvement, back-up to manager, maintaining supplies, coordinating schedules and meetings, and participating in training/in-services for clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain daily operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of services.
- Keep the manager informed of any issues with patients, staff, or physicians that are beyond their comfort level or are questionable.
- Order departmental and medical supplies, ensuring timely delivery and adequate stock levels.
- Responsible for equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Monitor and maintain budget/spending, conferring with the manager as needed.
- Monitor quality control standards, including immunization logs, waived testing, drug sample logs, equipment sterilization logs, etc.
- Resolve less complicated patient, staff, and physician issues, escalating more complex matters to the manager.
- Assist with evaluating associate performance and recommending merit increases, while the manager disciplines.
- Report any associate non-compliance with approved policies to the manager.
- Monitor associate work schedule and PTO requests, ensuring adequate staff coverage.
- Ensure NCHD referrals are appropriate and assist staff as needed.
- Follow CHRISTUS Physician Group guidelines related to HIPAA, maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to the CHRISTUS Mission.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Excellent computer knowledge and skills, including data input/abstracting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Registered Nurse license and CPR Certification through American Heart Association.
