About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Solutions Architect to join our team at World Wide Technology. As a key member of our Global Enterprise Sales team, you will be responsible for driving strategic and enterprise-level solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Drive Strategic Solutions: Develop and drive strategic and enterprise-level solutions in various technical domains, including network, cloud, and security transformations, software-defined data centers, data engineering, and analytics, as well as AIOPs platforms.
  • Prepare Sales and Technical Presentations: Prepare internal and customer-facing sales and technical presentations that simplify complex designs and concepts.
  • Build Relationships with Key Stakeholders: Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders and executives within accounts.
  • Provide Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership within accounts and drive revenue with existing and net new clients.
  • Strategic Relationships with OEMs: Build strategic relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Identify New Opportunities: Proactively identify new opportunities within existing customer bases.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in successful consultative selling and/or account development of commercial enterprise accounts.
  • Senior Business Partnerships: Experience working with senior business partners and C-level clients, identifying trends, communicating competitive actions, and presenting strategic plans.
  • Strategic Solutions: Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts and identify strategic solutions to business problems with enterprise-wide implications.
  • Technical Plans: Demonstrable experience in developing strategic technical plans.
  • Client Needs: Ability to excel at understanding and driving solutions centered on primary client needs.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills, visionary leadership, and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Strong financial and business acumen with an understanding of a multi-faceted business operation.
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Customer and Sales Requests: Ability to approach customer and sales requests with a proactive and consultative manner, listen and understand user requests and needs, and effectively deliver.
  • Program and Project Management: Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, and manage programs and multiple projects.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Automation Platforms and Tools: High-level knowledge of automation platforms and tools, including Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Azure Resource Manager, Ansible, Chef, etc.
Preferred Experience
  • Data Center Infrastructure: Experience with Dell servers, HPE servers, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, Dell EMC Storage, HPE Storage, Nutanix HCI.
  • Backup Technologies: Experience with Zerto, Veeam, Cohesity, Rubrik, Data Domain, Avamar.
  • Network Security Technologies: Experience with Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, Palo Alto NGFWs, F5 BIG-IP.
  • Microsoft Technologies: Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Virtual Desktop.
  • Hybrid/MultiCloud Technologies: Experience with AWS core concepts, Azure foundational concepts, VMware, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes.
  • Data Engineering/Governance: Experience with QLIK, Trifacta, Dataiku, Talend.
  • AIOPS and Observability: Experience with DataDog, Dynatrace, Big Panda, Splunk.
