We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to lead our programmatic service delivery in partnership with the Program Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new program designs, evaluating and reporting on program outcomes, and supervising clinical and social service staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a multi-disciplinary team, including Social Service Supervisors, Case Managers, and Client Care Coordinators.
- Provide clinical supervision to Social Service Supervisors to enhance their clinical case management skills.
- Provide coaching, training, and staff development to the Social Service team to promote social work values and a clinical lens.
- Manage the supportive housing process and train staff in Evidence-Based Practices (EBP), Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
- Conduct audits of client charts and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Establish linkages with community agencies and conduct community outreach to maximize onsite care-coordination and referral processes.
- Monitor incident follow-ups and provide direct client care and assessment as needed.
- Identify and consult on coordination of care for high-risk clients in collaboration with the Program Director.
- Support the Program Director in preparing reports for regulatory agencies.
- Current NYS LCSW or LMHC license and three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating groups and developing curricula.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with mental illness and substance abuse, preferably with homeless families.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus.
- Leading Others: Conduct informative, effective meetings with staff and communicate critical information.
- Facilitating Change: Propose new approaches and methods to improve client services.
- Managing Performance: Share constructive feedback and quickly adjust to new demands.
- Applying and Developing Expertise: Stay informed of cutting-edge best practices.
- Communicating and Collaborating: Listen well and actively engage others with honesty and integrity.
